Ron Yang

Ron serves as an Operating Partner at Level Equity, focused on product strategy and AI. He works directly with CEOs and product leads across the portfolio to sharpen product vision, build AI-native capabilities, and develop product talent and AI-first operating rhythms needed to scale.

Ron joined Level from Alpine Software Group (ASG), where as VP of Product he partnered with CEOs and product leaders across more than 40 vertical SaaS businesses — driving product strategy, building product teams, and translating operator expertise into portfolio-wide value creation. Prior to ASG, Ron spent seven years at Aha! — the world’s #1 product development software — as VP of Product Management and UX, where he helped scale the company from $2M to over $100M in revenue and built the product frameworks now used by teams worldwide. Earlier in his career, Ron was the founding CEO of SwoopOff and a member of the founding teams of several venture-backed companies, giving him a builder’s perspective he brings to every portfolio engagement.

Ron is also the founder of mySecond.ai, an AI operating system for product managers built on Claude Code. He holds a B.S. in Marketing and Finance from Boston College and an MBA from UCLA Anderson. Originally from New York, he now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, two kids, and their dog.
