Sunny Tam

Sunny is the Head of Finance at Level and is responsible for the firm’s financial operations. He brings over 20 years of experience within the financial services and private equity sectors.

Prior to joining Level, Sunny was a Managing Director at Motive Partners. There, he was responsible for the day-to-day management of its funds’ treasury and operational functions, financial and investor reporting, as well as the valuation of its portfolio. Previously, Sunny was a Senior Vice President at Torchlight Investors, where he managed the funds group and helped build out the compliance function. Prior to that, Sunny served in various capacities at Mayer & Hoffman Capital Advisors, Tishman Speyer Properties and began his career in audit at BDO.

Sunny holds a B.S in Accounting and Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant. Sunny was born in Hong Kong, grew up in New York City and currently resides on the Upper East Side with his wife and two children.
