Lou Jordano

Lou is the Operating Partner for Marketing at Level. He supports Level’s deal teams during due diligence, helps Level’s portfolio companies accelerate growth post-investment, and is responsible for marketing the firm as well as mentoring Level’s community of Marketing leaders. Lou’s expertise in branding, product marketing, and demand generation enables him to coach portfolio executives on increasing share of voice, developing differentiated messaging, and building a Marketing engine that consistently and efficiently generates qualified pipeline.
Before joining Level, Lou served as Chief Marketing Officer at four PE-backed lower middle market companies, each of which has since been acquired. Earlier in his career, Lou served in global enterprises, including at Tibco, where he became the first global head of product marketing, and at EMC, where he helped create the Content Addressed Storage market category. Previously, Lou spent several years in professional services, first in the SAP Practice at Accenture, and then in the Business Strategy Group at Sapient (now Publicis Sapient).
Lou lives with his wife and daughter in Cambridge, MA.
